AS A BRAND DESIGNER AND CONSULTANT, I always believe in being honest because honesty keeps transparency between you and your professional relations. That lead us to build a strong trust. I researched and found few commercials where brands played true and showed their honest features/concepts instead of trying to sell products anyway.

#5 Wacoal mood
Bangkok’s bra brand is emphasising on what its product is all about then pushing ahead their actual customers in the scene. This product could be used to misguide or mischief but this brand talks about it openly in a comic way or satirical way. Yes, it is about product experience and this comes with honesty because if you are not honest with the explanation then you can’t talk about true facts of products.
#4 Wodka vodka
When there was a myth that “costlier the price is, better the quality of vodka will be” but later “Wodka vodka” brand brought a new concept that qualitative vodka also could be available at cheaper rates. This commercial shows that concept by showing the myth of ‘nice wife’. 😉 This satire worked well for them and this could happen because of being honest in their commercials.
#3 Hynes baked beans
Though this is a mock commercial but original brand ‘Heinz Beanz’ never opposed to this mock commercial. It seems that they also agree with this idea. 😉 Never-mind, this commercial proves that being honest could not affect to sells of your products. This can help to increase your sells as well.
Smart is a very famous car brand in USA. It is none for its compact and small size which is the best suit to be called ‘a perfect city car’. In this commercial, they first show what this car is not for by being honest about their product. This is not any typical commercial where car brands flatters their positive sides by putting curtains on negative sides. This is why, Smart is at the second position in the list of top honest commercials.
Advice IT is having its 350 branches in all across Thailand and internet store as well. With this big selling-wings, they dared to mention that ‘Tablets” are not for those kids who are below the 12 years. In todays’ world, businesses are trying to sell their products any way and this brand takes this stand for a social change by being an honest brand. This stand puts this brand at the first position in the list of top honest commercials.
